The enjoyment of a game is more than the hours spent playing it. Gamers often seek out alternative forums for information, advice or meeting like minded people from around the world. We wanted to take control of this experience. Not just to make it seamless for the user, but also to ensure Rare could follow and understand the data being generated over time.

Both our teams follow a deeply user centric process. As they tested and iterated through endless gaming mechanics we looked for opportunities to amplify them. We tapped into community behavior, game lore and communication channels that could be used to validate ideas now but also support them as they matured.
